Women's History Month Exhibit

This year's Women's History Month celebration will focus on Women Owned Businesses that contributed to the LGA Redevelopment Program.

Within the male dominated world of industrial supplies, Leslie Baltes is an accomplished business woman and the President of Carter, Milchman, and Frank Inc. (CMF) She wears many hats in her role and oversees a 40,000 square foot warehouse in Long Island City, Queens. She manages a fleet of trucks, eclectic staff of 40 people, and serves over 1,000 customers. Leslie drives the success of the company and supplies materials for a multitude of bridge, tunnel, and airport projects all over the Tri-State area, most recently LaGuardia Airport. Due to Leslie's passion for business and strong work ethic, she rose through the ranks at CMF before finally becoming President in 2017. Leslie has a degree from Hofstra University in Business Administration and is a certified public accountant. In addition to her professional accomplishments, Leslie is a proud Mom of three wonderful children and her beloved dog; she enjoys traveling, gardening, and yoga. Leslie continues to be a role model and inspiration for women in business and she strives to lift up other women facing obstacles.
